Glasgow Design Pop Up welcomes early bird visitors
March 7 2014
In a sign of growing confidence in the economy outside London a group of eight design industry firms have grouped together to stage a month long Design Pop Up in Glasgow’s Italian Centre.Allgood, Artemide, Bute Fabrics, Domus Tiles, Mapei, Milliken, Shadbolt and Steelcase Solutions are all in residence until 28 March showcasing a range of eye catching products; from a ginormous 3 x 1.2m ‘Magnum tile’ from Domus that’s just 6mm thick to the very latest LED lighting technology from Artemide.
The city centre venue, once home to Page/Park’s studio, also plays host to a selection of sustainably sourced Shadbolt Doors and hi-tech office furniture from Steelcase.
Anyone interested in staying abreast of these emerging design trends is invited to drop-in to 49 Cochrane Street each weekday between the hours of 11am and 5pm.
