Gleneagles completes £5m leisure centre refurb

Gleneagles hotel has completed a £5m refurbishment of its leisure club undertaken by Graham Construction and Sedley Place Architects ahead of this year’s Ryder Cup.This work saw the Perthshire resorts existing pool overhauled together with the installation of Jacuzzis, steam rooms and saunas together with refitted changing rooms.
Guests can now enjoy a waterfall feature, bubble jet crossing and bubble pool whilst a newly installed glazed screen wall improves insulation and acoustics in the main pool hall.
Bernard Murphy, General Manager of Gleneagles, said: “We are delighted with the new look of TheClub, which seamlessly combines modern, luxury facilities with a real step up in terms of design.
“We’re particularly excited about the introduction of a new adults-only pool and relaxation area, and a new outdoor Alpine Onsen – they will be a fantastic asset for the resort, and provide some really beautiful new spaces for our guests to enjoy.”
