Manorlane, the Scottish housebuilder, has secured detailed planning permission from South Lanarkshire Council for a £11.3m residential development in Netherburn village, South Lanarkshire.

Nestled in the countryside of the Clyde Valley, just 10 minutes from Hamilton, the 52-unit development - to be known as The Hamptons - will comprise a mixture of three, four and five-bed detached homes with prices ranging from £170,000 to £300,000. The Hamptons will transform a 6.85-acre brownfield site off Draffan Road.

Work is scheduled to take place before the end of the year.
