Corstorphine Primary School completes

Hadden Construction have completed the refurbishment and extension of Edinburgh’s Corstorphine Primary School.The £1.6m project for City of Edinburgh Council consisted of the construction of a contemporary extension clad in render, glazing and stone to complement an existing listed school building (now refurbished)
Designed by Joanna Gracie at The City of Edinburgh Council and built by Hadden Construction the project provides an additional three classrooms, two general purpose rooms, an activity space, new entrance, dining room and kitchen.
Works elsewhere saw the demolition of an existing nursery, refurbishment of reception areas and the installation of a lift for the first time.

An attractive extension to a listed building, that reflects the history and blends it, but is also at once a modern extension.
