Adam Dudley passes away following cancer fight
Adam Dudley, founder of Edinburgh based Adam Dudley Architects, has died following a fight against cancer.

Dudley formed the practice in 1989 and in that time has made his mark as a Saltire Society Award winner and notable projects include a restoration of Greenlaw Town Hall and refurbishment of a Georgian terrace for Castle Rock Edinvar - which won him a Carbon Trust Award in 2012.

He also served as an external marker for the University of Edinburgh as part of a commitment to architectural education.

In a statement Adam Dudley Architects said: “After a short but courageous battle with cancer, Adam Dudley passed away at his home on Saturday evening.  He continued to work passionately throughout his chemotherapy treatment, showing his positive fighting spirit right to the end.”

All are welcome to attend a funeral for Adam which will be held this Friday, 18 October, at 14:00 at Warriston Crematorium, Lorimer Chapel.

It is requested that no flowers be sent, in accordance with Adam’s wishes.
