Denmark fact-finding tour
June 6 2007
Penny Lewis, Prospect editor, visited Denmark to look at shared spaces and home-zones with Parc Life, the URC responsible for the expansion and regeneration of Craigmillar.
Here are some snapshots of the new development at Orestad on the south side of Copenhagen. The urban design is fairly conventional and has attracted some criticism from some local urban designers. Some of the new residential blocks are interesting. A full report of the visit will appear in Prospect. Photography by Lewis j Houghton.
