Construction progresses on Falkirk Business Hub
June 19 2013
Construction work has got underway on a new £2m business hub in the town of Falkirk, a refit of the existing 1960s Grahame House, which will provide 27,000sq/ft of flexible office space that can be let for periods stretching from a matter of hours up to 20 years.Developed by Bellair and designed by TBB Architecture the scheme is due to complete by the end of the year and will incorporate a ground floor café and gym.
This follows a number of stalled bids to convert the property into a hotel and flats, neither of which saw the light of day.
Bellair MD Alistair Campbell said: “We see this as something that is very much scaleable and we are currently looking at another couple of sites, one very strongly, in provincial towns. We also think it will work in cities.
"We are looking at other business centres and we think we can do it differently and provide a better service, with more services for businesses and the general community. We are very keen to try and roll it out."
