NORD has been short-listed as one of five practices for the title of BD Young Architects of the Year. The other short-listed practices are Featherstone Associates, IJP Corporation, Mangera Yvars Architects and Urban Salon. Alan Pert and Robin Lee attended a rigorous interview in London last week and will find out if they have picked up the prestigious UK title on 2 November.Anderson Bell + Christie has been short-listed for the Architect of the Year category in the same competition. The Glasgow based practice has been nominated in four categories; Education Building Architect of the Year, Private Housing Architect of the Year, Public Housing Architect of the Year, Masterplanning Architect of the Year for the UK wide competition. It is the only Scottish practice to be in more than one category, as well as the only practice to be shortlisted in four categories. The nominations reflect our consistent and diverse take on Scottish Architecture.”
