BDG director appointed EAA president & RIAS vice-president

BDG architecture + design director Ian Stewart has been named as the new president of the Edinburgh Architectural Association and vice-president of the RIAS in a two year dual role.A founding member of BDG’s Edinburgh office in 1990 Stewart will bring over thirty years’ of experience to bear in his new responsibilities; which include chairing ten annual ‘council meetings’.
Commenting on his appointments Stewart said: “I am honoured to have been given this opportunity to take an active role in the development of the architectural profession in Scotland. One of my key objectives will be to forge stronger links with architectural practices and the School of Architecture in Edinburgh.”
