Graffiti artist adds some colour to financial firm
April 10 2013
Financial services firm FNZ has sought to banish the fusty associations of its industry and spruce up its Edinburgh office in the process, after inviting a local graffiti artist, ‘Elph’, inside for a spot of redecorating. The resulting unconventional design work, dominated by a wall mural depicting the city, dovetailed with interior designers Space Solutions own work; which involved remodelling the office in conjunction with FNZ.
Intended to encourage collaborative working and thinking, whilst juggling the need for secure access, it features cushioned break out areas, a bar, mobile desks and a central ‘think tank’ in an attempt to start afresh.
FNZ are located within BDP’s £20m Tanfield office development, a refurbishment of the former Standard Life building.
