3DReid & And Architects land Rio stadium work

3DReid & And Architects have been named as successful bidders to assist with the venue designs for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games following a trade mission headed by Lord Sebastian Coe.3DReid, which recently completed work on Glasgow’s 2014 Commonwealth games Velodrome, has been invited to partner with BLAC Architects as specialist venue consultants for Rio’s own indoor cycle track whilst And Architects will work on a handball arena.
Trade and Investment Minister Lord Green said: "UK firms are taking the initiative and thinking long-term by linking up with Brazilian companies, which is vital to winning contracts for Rio.
"There are still many opportunities out there for UK companies to win business for Rio, new tenders are opening up all the time."
