Progress on Egyptian Halls

The Egyptian Halls, designed by the legendary Alexander 'Greek' Thomson in 1853, will now begin its long overdue return to commercial sustainability.
The first stage of the £6million refurbishment project has begun with the issuing of tenders. The project will move on site in Autumn 2007 and will take about 18-months to complete.
The 2nd stage outfitting will begin October 2008. The refurbishment is being designed by The Morrison Partnership.
