Crieff Hydro submits £100m expansion masterplan

Crieff Hydro has unveiled a 20 year masterplan for the redevelopment of its estate at Strathearn to transform the historic hotel into a major leisure destination.Developed by James Denholm Partnership Crieff Hydro East will entail creation of a 100 bed care home, 100 assisted living homes, ~200 holiday lodges, a shop & café and a swimming pool if Planning Permission in Principle is granted.
Stephen Leckie, chief executive of Crieff Hydro said: “Feedback from the consultation process was extremely positive with 62% of respondents supporting the expansion of Crieff Hydro Estate and 68% supporting the long term expansion of Crieff as a tourist destination.”
