Merry Christmas!
December 21 2012
With letter boxes and inboxes bulging with cards and messages of goodwill we’ve brought together a sample of some of the best along with some thoughts for the year ahead.Kicking things off this year is Hadden Construction, who have extra cause for celebration: “As well as being the Winter Solstice and the last working day of the year, the 21st December 2012 is the 20th Anniversary of our date of incorporation. Plenty to celebrate there! Some might say appropriately, the 21st December 2012 is also predicted as global doomsday by the ancient Central American Mayan Civilisation! Let’s hope they’re wrong!”
Meanwhile the GSA Christmas card meanwhile features an amalgam of the digital world with reality crafted by graduate Craig Kirk.

Buro Happold meanwhile have been busy compiling a video diary with a new generation of budding engineers, as the practice explained: “To spread a little festive cheer we have put together a short video featuring some of our colleague's children answering the ticklish question on everyone’s lips – just exactly what does an engineer do?”

Fellow engineering firm David Narro Associates added: “We have had a good year and are slowly building up our workload in what is a very difficult time for all consultants. We have won some really interesting projects and of course unfortunately missed out on others that would have been fun.”
