Borders Council to discuss development at Newton St Boswells
March 20 2007
Scottish Borders Council is to discuss the possibility of a major new development on a soon-to-be-vacant mart site in Newton St Boswells.
As plans currently stand, the site could be used for a mix of housing, retail and community facilities once vacated by auctioneer John Swan.
Councillor Carolyn Riddell-Carre said the plan had the support of the local community and could “become one of the jewels in Scottish Borders Council.”
The application will be reviewed by Scottish Borders Council planning committee later this year.
