University of Edinburgh completes £350m fundraising drive

The University of Edinburgh has successfully concluded a £350m fundraising drive which will benefit the entire University estate.Projects set to be allocated funding as a result of the successful campaign include the Euan MacDonald Centre for Motor Neurone Disease and the Anne Rowling Regenerative Neurology Clinic, named after the mother of JK Rowling following a £10m donation by the author.
Designed by Keppie and built by Mansell this is now nearing completion.
Other key projects to benefit include the Centre for Regenerative Medicine, the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, the Alwaleed Centre for the Study of Islam in the Contemporary World and the Scottish Centre for Diaspora Studies.
In addition the campaign has seen creation of two new hubs for student life and helped to conserve the Universities main library, old College and Teviot Row House.
