Council protests retail space at Glasgow Harbour development
February 8 2007
The Glasgow Harbour development has been attacked by West Dumbartonshire Council for alleged “excessive” reliance on retail space.
The £1.2 billion development will be subject to an official planning objection from the neighbouring council, which objects to the 187% increase of non-food retail space in a revised planning application .
A spokesman for the Glasgow Harbour project said the situation has been reviewed and the impact on the surrounding areas would be “minimal.”
