ASA12 entrants finalised
July 11 2012
The final group of seventy projects to be put forward for this year’s Architecture Scotland Annual have been selected by the Urban Realm editorial team.A diverse body of work is reflected in this year’s confetti of steel, timber and glass from Archial’s shipshape conversion of a former MoD fuel vessel in Leith for the Vine Trust to Robin Baker’s Flanders Moss viewing tower – where the views in are just as impressive as those out.
A particularly strong education field this year also sees a number of practices engage in a playground tussle for dominance; amongst them RMJM with Ayr Campus & Cairns Primary, Reiach & Hall with Alloa College, Holmes-Miller with Heathfield Primary and Sheppard Robson for their work on the Scottish Centre for Regenerative Medicine.
The yearbook will be published in October.
