Miller Cromdale submit plans for Aberdeen energy HQ

Miller Cromdale has submitted plans by Halliday Fraser Munro for the erection of a new headquarters office building on Aberdeen’s North Esplanade West.The project will entail demolition of the existing Riverside Business Centre to erect a five storey, 40,000sq/ft development to be tenanted by GDF SUEZ E&P Ltd.
The Grade A office space will play host to up to 200 employees allowing the energy firm to expand its exploration and production projects.
Pamela Grant, Development Director, Miller Cromdale, said: “This deal reinforces our on-going commitment to Aberdeen and further extends the North Dee Business Quarter.
“North Esplanade West is a prime office location offering views across the River Dee, and we are confident this building will be a key base for GDF SUEZ’s UK E&P operations.”
Construction work should commence in October of this year for completion by 2014.
