Gross Max pick up European landscape award

Landscape architects GROSS. MAX. has been awarded the 2006 European Landscape Award. The Topos editorial team selected GROSS. MAX. for their individual design concepts and competition entries that exhibit a creative approach specific to this office.According to the judges: “ GROSS. MAX. stands for a group of landscape architects who cultivate an unmistakable style and, often in fruitful collaboration with architects and urban planners manage to translate it into urban projects. With their innovative approach they provide the profession with new impetus and make important contributions to the discourse of theory.”
The European Landscape Award was previously presented to the practices of Stig L. Anderson in Copenhagen (2002) and Karres en Brands in Amsterdam (2004). GROSS. MAX. was presented with the award at the 2007 Urban Design Fair in Munich.
