S&P at Stirling
January 10 2007
S&P Architects are currently waiting for the return of tenders on the Stirling Sports Village project. Tenders are due to be returned in January. The new sports complex will consist of nine court sports hall, an ice rink, a 25-metre swimming pool and two smaller pools, a climbing wall, a gym and studios. S&P is a London-based practice, but it is in the process of establishing a base in Scotland. In addition to the Stirling project, S&P is also looking at plans to refurbish the Commonwealth Pool in Edinburgh. The practice has been the subject of media speculation when it was identified as the next company likely to be acquired by the rapidly expanding SMC group.Read next: Lochrin basin
