Portrait Gallery kicks off ASA12 submissions
January 12 2012
Page\Park’s recently completed work on the Scottish National Portrait Gallery has become the first project to be put forward for inclusion in the Architecture Scotland Annual 2012.Our annual hunt for the best new buildings of the past 12 months is getting off to a flying start this New Year with half a dozen buildings already in the running – ranging from BDPs Bathgate Partnership Centre to Archial’s unique barge refurbishment for the Vine Trust.
It is still early days in our hunt for nomination however, so if you know of a recent completion that is worthy of inclusion let us know and you could find yourself in print later in the year.
And, for our English readers, this year Urban Realm will also be updating the process to encompass England in a separate Architecture England Annual 2012 - pitching the two nations into a head to head referendum aping tussle.
