Highland Maggies picks up second award

On Friday the Glasgow Institute of Architects announced the winners of their annual awards.

Following on from its success as winner of the RIAS Andrew Doolan Prize on Thursday, the Maggie's Centre Inverness by Page /Park Architects picked up an award.

Awards were also given to; Affordable Housing, Telford Drive, Edinburgh by Gordon Murray + Alan Dunlop Architects, Air Traffic Control Tower, Edinburgh Airport by Reid Architecture, The Wright Business Centre, Glasgow by Elder and Cannon, The Bridge Arts Centre, Easterhouse by Gareth Hoskins Architects, Kelvingrove New Century Project, Glasgow by Building Design Partnership, Robin House Children's Hospice, Balloch by Gareth Hoskins Architects, The Saltire Centre, Caledonian University, Glasgow by Building Design Partnership, Oran Mor, Glasgow by ZM Architecture, Domestic Finishing Mill, Anchor Mills, Paisley by James F Stephen Architects and The Holm, Orchardton by Crallan and Winstanley.

Sustainability Awards went to Silverhills Housing, Rosneath by Anderson Bell Christie and Incubator Start Up Units, Alba Campus, West Lothian by Reid Architecture.
