GIA web presence revamped
August 11 2011
Glasgow Institute of Architects, the umbrella body for architects working in the locale, have brushed up their web presence to provide a more polished shop window to members and the curious. In addition to a visual tidy up the organisation has introduced a number of new features, notably a news aggregator which trawls the web for relevant stories for readers.
Other fresh content includes an events section, complete with an online booking facility and a newly fashioned awards page which allows online entry for anyone who reckons they’re in with a shout of securing one of the body’s design gongs.
GIA president Ian Hamilton said: “It gives me great pleasure to introduce the new GIA website which is intended, along with the GIA’s Facebook page, to provide a forum for comment and debate and to disseminate information on events and other issues to the Chapter members and beyond.”
