Grassmarket Community Project gets Royal approval

Expansion of a community based project which offers opportunities to the homeless in the form of education programmes and cooking, gardening classes has received Royal approval after the Duchess of Cornwall paid a visit.Designed by Gareth Hoskins Architects the two storey extension is will see accommodation wrapped around a naturally ventilated community hall which can be rented out commercially.
A woodwork studio will be harnessed to provide interior pieces such as timber wall panels, reception desk and furniture.
Construction on the new extension is due to commence early next year.
