Fountainbridge brewery masterplan approved
A masterplan by Allan Murray Architects for the redevelopment of a former brewery in Edinburgh has been given the go ahead by councillors.

The 5ha is being touted by Lloyds Banking Group as the location for and an “urban village” incorporating 63,871sq/m of offices, 760 homes, retail, a 250 bed hotel and 780 student flats.

Underground parking will be provided to free up land for a series of public squares, gardens and a tree lined boulevard connecting the Union Canal with Fountainbridge.
