Nominations for the Roses Design Awards 2010 go live today, culmination of a judging process in Glasgow chaired by the ‘grandfather of British brutalism’ Owen Luder.

Luder instructed to panel to distil out the “gee whizzes, oh my god’s and so what’s”  in identifying the cream of this years architectural crop.

Helping Luder to sift through the entries were Peter Wilson - Napier University; Stephen Furnell – Furnell Associates; Dirk Krolikowski – Roger Stirk Harbour + Partners; Lorenzo Apicella – Pentagram London and Paul Monaghan – Allford Hall Monaghan Morris.

The fill list of nominations will be viewable from 12 noon on the Roses Design Awards website.
