MPS promise green future for Carnegie Primary

Carnegie Primary, one of six new schools being created in the £126m Building Fife’s Future programme, a ten year initiative aimed at updating the regions schools.Morgan Professional Services are providing sustainability and services advice for the project, which promises to be one of Scotland’s greenest - the contractor is hopeful of achieving a BREEAM rating of ‘Outstanding’.
Key features of the Dunfermline School include a combined heat and power plant, rainwater harvesting system and natural ventilation.
Fife Council are determined not to create “new old schools” and promise that the new estates will be a community hub.
