Underwear entrepreneur Michelle Mone is thinking big for her latest venture a sprawling mansion in the Lanarkshire village of Thorntonhall.

Finding their current six bedroom residence a tad cramped but unwilling to move the Mone household opted to purchase a neighbours property to demolish and make way for an extension to their existing pile.

The businesswoman is pursuing her tried and tested big is beautiful maxim in the design of the mammoth home which neighbours have cticised for “dwarfing” their own more humble abodes.

Boasting its own swimming pool, jacuzzi and private cinema the 15,000sq/ft property boasts such everyday essentials as a sauna, gym, bar, hair salon and recording studio – bringing everything the family might require directly under one roof.

Despite reservations from neighbours the scheme has been granted planning permission by South Lanarkshire Council.
