Bradford dissed by Travelodge in tourist poll
March 19 2010
Bradford has found itself unwilling recipient of another unwelcome award, the Yorkshire city has been deemed the place travellers least want to visit in a poll conducted by budget hoteliers Travelodge. The former wool capital was dubbed “dangerous, ugly and boring” in a damning assessment by Travelodge respondents.
Indeed Yorkshire as a whole received something of a bum deal from the hotel chains pollsters with nearby Wakefield dubbed “dull and depressing” and considered the next least attractive place.
Other choice locales on the wish you weren’t here list of tourist notspots were Dundee, perennially shrouded in grey and Sunderland whose hapless denizens were derided for their dislikeable accents.

Nobody who has anything to do with Travelodge, even a customer, has a right to say anything against Bradford when Travelodge have just built one of the most ugly buildings I have ever seen....in Bradford. It is in fact EVEN WORSE (honest guv) than the new Premier Inn, Bradford. Ugh!
