Sisk appointed to Kettering redevelopment
March 10 2010
Construction firm John Sisk & Son Ltd has been selected by Kettering Borough Council to act as contractor on the regeneration of the Northamptonshire town’s historic market place.Full planning permission has been granted for the £2.1m project which is due to complete in spring 2011 and will reintroduce a line of buildings that previously occupied the southern edge of the town square to provide a mix of apartments, restaurants and basement parking.
English Heritage has given the scheme their support, vital due to the proximity of a Grade 1 listed church.

while a redevelopment can be viewed as an admiral undertaking to improve the more dilapidated areas in central kettering,it should not involve stringent penalties of a financial nature upon residents and working population of kettering. i refer of course to increased costs of inflated community charges and substantial increases in the already expensive parking fees.
