Architecture + Design Scotland are ramping up their search for a new Chief Executive following appointment of a new Chair (Anderson Bell Christie’s Karen Anderson) and Company Board.

The plum post will net the lucky individual a not inconsequential £65 -70k as the organisation sets about its expanded remit which now includes running government sponsored programmes run by the former Lighthouse Trust.

A+DS are stipulating past management experience from the recruit but a background in the architecture profession is not required, candidates must merely demonstrate: “Keen understanding of the importance of well designed buildings and places.”
