Snow and ice have been contributing to traffic chaos across the country with the Met Office issuing warnings of heavy snowfall in Aberdeenshire, Lothian & Borders, Strathclyde and Dumfries & Galloway.Grampian in particular has become something of a snow go zone with a deluge of the white stuff causing traffic “mayhem”.
Widespread disruption to airports, including Glasgow, Edinburgh and Heathrow has also caused travel misery, compounding an ongoing limited service from Eurostar.
