McAslan teams up with Wyclef Jean

John McAslan and Partners together with Allied London have teamed up with RIBA to launch an international student design competition for a music studio in Cite Soleil (Port au Prince), Haiti.From Friday December 18 students will be invited to put forward ideas for the centre, which will combine recording studios, radio programming, education provision and business start up facilities to the RIBA website.
The scheme has been commissioned by Yele Haiti, a charity founded by the musician Wycliffe Jean which aims to raise global awareness of Haiti and regenerate what is the poorest nation in the western hemisphere.
