Growth spurt for Edinburgh Airport

Edinburgh Airport has opened an expanded departure lounge, an initiative that will eventually double the size of the pre-existing facility.This constitutes phase one of a two year programme of terminal expansion that will provide enhanced security facilities, waiting areas and retail offerings.
Other works on the cards include a reconfigured check in hall, construction of two additional aircraft stands and infrastructure works to accommodate the arrival of trams in 2011.
