November 19 2009
HLM are to open their Clackmannanshire Community Healthcare Centre on November 25 following an 18 month construction period.Situated in Alloa the Centre provides 45 inpatient beds for the elderly. A cluster of buildings have been designed to create a campus style with the Centre itself acting as a gateway, focussed upon a central atrium.
A covered walkway connects the various other departments on site with the aim of unifying departments which, although separate buildings, work in close proximity.
Commissioned by NHS Forth Valley the facility was procured under a £20m PFI contract delivered by Robertson Capital Projects.
