Oberlanders unveil Edinburgh student residences

Oberlanders Architects have completed work on John Burnett House, a £6.8m student accommodation block for Edinburgh University.Formed around an L shaped plan the development comprises 118 rooms with private balconies and terraces on upper levels wrapping around a semi private courtyard garden.
A fully glazed entrance hall is located where both wings meet, illuminated by night this is intended to act as a beacon on campus.
Simple facades are dressed in an off white brick base course and graphite grey ceramic cladding.
