Ayrshire Housing and Lawrence McPherson Associates have submitted plans for a new housing development in the village of Tarbolton, Ayrshire.

Comprising two, three and four bed ‘lifetime’ homes for affordable rent each property will sport a contemporary design as part of a larger private estate developed by Hope Homes.

Subject to approval work could start on site next Spring for completion in 2011.

Greenspace Scotland are currently pioneering a placemaking project in Tarbolton, one of three Ayrshire communities to do so, this aims to bring together the community and local agencies to refashion the village centre.
