Austin-Smith+Lord have completed 26 affordable homes at Pollock Street, Mossend, for Lanarkshire Housing Association.

Wrapping around an enclosed communal green space the homes are designed to balance simplicity in design and construction with attractiveness.  Higher density terrace housing was eschewed by the practice in favour of semi detached houses for greater privacy.

Sustainable timber was used and locally produced and recycled materials were sourced in construction.
