Fit out of an unusual Mancunian residential scheme from the fertile mind of Will Alsop, has been completed by Janex for developer Urban Splash.

Part of the New Islington district the scheme provides 142 apartments and a mix of ground floor commercial space. Monickered as ‘Chips’ due to the layered similarity of the three wedges of accommodation resembling a stack of the nations favourite fish accoutrement.

Unusual external cladding is coloured in shades of timber whilst feature bold text is incorporated on upper levels to evoke the industrial heritage of Ancoats.
