Lighthouse funding extended
May 11 2005
The Lighthouse has been handed £1million of funding from the Scottish Executive, which will fund an extension of the National Programme for Architecture until 2008. Since it began in 2001, the national programme has mounted 12 exhibitions. Lighthouse director, Stuart MacDonald, said: “The Executive had the vision, and we have realised much of its ambition. These are the most focused and far-reaching programmes aimed at a public audience.” John Pelan of the RIAS added: “We are punching above our weight. Projects are being realised now that would not have happened before.”Read previous: Graven at BBC
