Elphinstone pair up with Forth Valley College

Elphinstone Group Ltd have entered into an agreement with Forth Valley College for the redevelopment of part of the former Stirling Auction Mart site at Kildean East, set to be transformed by architects Reiach and Hall into a £29m college campus.Vocational training will provide the focus for the campus, providing specialist technical knowledge in areas such as Engineering, Creative Industries, Construction and Hospitality within what is said to be the first public building in Stirling to engage with its river.
Outline plans have already been submitted and it is hoped work can begin in August 2010 for an opening in April 2012.
Additional plans are in train for 250 homes, a hotel, commercial, leisure and retail space on the remainder of the site by Elphinstone which will be subject to a separate application to be submitted shortly.
