Stephen Miles, currently a project architect with Anderson Bell + Christie, has established his own eponymous practice, Stephen Miles Architects (sma).  

SMA has been established to focus upon small scale domestic and commercial work providing services from architecture and interior design to 3d visualisation.

Miles has just submitted plans for a £75k residential conversion in Airdrie which will carve out internal space from a small bungalow and incorporate a one storey extension utilising timber construction, warmcell insulation and European oak cladding.

Internally a series of rooflights are to be added and a feature chimney will be exposed and reclad.
