Asda in store for Inverness

Supermarket giant Asda are on the move, taking the high road to Inverness after gaining outline planning permission for their first Highland store.If a detailed application is approved for the site at Slackbluie work could commence next year and be completed within a six month build program.
Inverness Business Improvement District welcomed any increased competition to incumbent Tesco’s monopoly, but warned of a negative impact upon city centre trade.
