Voting for the Public Choice Winner in 3DReid’s student competition gets underway as web users are invited to rank their top three students in a bid to elicit which young gun gets the public most fired up.Points will be dolled out in accordance with rank with three points awarded for first place, two for second and a solitary point for third. The student who can amass the greatest cumulative tally of points will emerge victorious and be duly crowned as the first Public Choice Winner.
Amongst the candidates vying for your favour are Joseph Murphy of Strathclyde University who proposes weaving a public space around Glasgow’s M8 motorway, designed to break down the barrier this presents to cross traffic.
Jon Morrisson of the Mackintosh however proposes a very different theme, a Museum of Water in Barcelona that acts as an urban contribution to that cities “la Nova Rambla del Raval”.
Polls will remain open at http://www.3dreid.com/subsection/82/view?state=120 until 5pm on Thursday July 16.
