One Borders couple are living their dream of rural living in a wood clad home nestled amongst Scots pines and a tumbling waterfall having elected to build their own home on the secluded spot.Self build is never an easy decision but the natural wonders literally on their doorstep made the move a no brainer for the pair with strong links to the area.
Numerous challenges such as a restricted site on the cleft of a hill were countered by timber frame specialist Scotframe, who also ensured the building met disability regulations which now require new builds to provide low level light switches and high level electrical sockets amongst numerous other requirements.
