Penilee resident harbours Harvard ambition

A voluntary worker from Glasgow has been given the opportunity to join the ivy league Harvard University, one of six youngsters to do so under the “Architecture for Everyone” campaign championed by RMJM.This saw a series of design workshops held in cities throughout the UK targeting youngsters from deprived inner city neighbourhoods in a bid to tackle a lack of diversity within the architectural profession.
Paula McDonald won the Glaswegian heat after inspiring judges with her dedication to an anti gang culture project run by the Glasgow South West regeneration Agency, a fitting circle to the memory of Stephen Lawrence, whose death inspired the competition.
