Portobello re-energised

B L Developments Ltd have submitted a detailed planning application to Edinburgh City Council for redevelopment of the former Scottish Power Headquarters site in Portobello, Edinburgh.Designed by Broadway Malyan and Morgan McDonnell architects the proposal envisages predominantly residential development but will include artisan studios, a nursery and a ‘well being centre’.
With a projected end value in excess of £100m the scheme will be built over a number of phases, the first of which is scheduled to commence during 2010.
