Hazelwood commended in WAN awards

A school from down under has come out on top in the inaugural bi-monthly World Architecture News awardsHazelwood School, from gm+ad architects, was pipped to the post for the title of Educational Building of the Year with the Australian Technical College, Sunshine, Victoria, ultimately scooping the title.
Focussing on digital and internet technology to transmit information electronically to the judges, the WAN awards spare the need for carbon heavy globe trotting.
Judges in the education category included leading college principals in addition to design and architecture experts.
