Fairytale ending for Shortbread House
May 6 2009
It seems that residential work on Granton’s waterfront hasn’t entirely stalled with news that a mixed residential scheme of townhouses and flats has received planning approval from Edinburgh City Council.Designed by Susan Stephen Architects, for Queensberry Properties and Dunedin Canmore Housing Association, the modernist flat roofed design sits around a landscaped courtyard that provides direct access to ground floor parking. A variety of properties for both private sale and social rent will be sited above.
Work on the £5m development is due to start on site this summer.
